Please ensure you are well-hydrated and refrain from consuming heavy meals before your session.
Our process begins with a comprehensive consultation to understand your health concerns and goals. The session, lasting approximately 45 minutes, involves strategically placing cups at specific points on your body to create suction and stimulate blood flow.
In some cases, we may use moving cupping to stimulate the release of stagnant blood and fluids within the tissue. Following this, small incisions are made to draw out blood from the tissue. It's important to note that the blood drawn is not directly from the veins but rather from the tissue.
Two methods are employed: traditional blade incisions and a lancing pen. The choice of method depends on your preference and specific needs.
After the procedure, patients often report feeling lighter and experiencing reduced muscular pressure. Following a Hijama session, it is crucial to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous activity for a short period, and adhere to any personalized aftercare advice provided. Ensure the treated area remains clean, and avoid direct exposure to extremely hot or cold temperatures.
Patient safety is our top priority. All equipment is thoroughly sterilized, and single-use blades or pins are employed to maintain hygiene. Each cup is individually wrapped and disposed of after use. The procedure is conducted in a clean, controlled environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Hijama is generally a minimally discomforting procedure. Most patients find it relaxing, with some even falling asleep. The incisions typically do not leave scars and usually heal within a couple of days.
